Rebecca was built at the Gannon and Benjamin shipyard in Vineyard Haven, MA, She is second of four schooners built at the yard, preceded by Calabash, and followed by Juno. She was commissioned shortly after they had rebuilt the When and If and she shares many similarities in size, rig, and interior layout. She's sailed up and down the US east coast and the Caribbean, and she's crossed the Atlantic twice on her own hull. She spent about ten years sailing out of Cowes in the UK, before returning to the US around 2013. She was donated to the Mystic Seaport Museum in 2020 and is currently available for charter.
